Virtual Perimeter Guard For Proactive Security
Prevent break-ins, vandalism, loitering, and panhandling at your facilities with our autonomous voice-down solution that sees suspicious activity on your perimeter and responds immediately with voice commands and warning lights. Automatically escalate persistent threats to our U.S.-based iSOC for live remote intervention.
Perimeter Security is a Challenge
- Consumer-facing businesses face significant security blind spots in exterior areas surrounding the store, such as parking lots, loading docks, and alleyways.
- These areas often lack proper surveillance cameras, sufficient lighting, and monitoring, making them vulnerable to theft, vandalism, and loitering.
- Entrances, exits, and delivery points pose challenges for effective monitoring, potentially allowing unauthorized access and unreported incidents.
- Panhandling, open-air drug use, and homeless encampments drive away customers and burden staff.
- Managing the influx of deliveries, unauthorized parking, or movement at drop-off locations after business hours can create safety hazards and security risks.
- Securing outdoor inventory showcased outside the store entrance is always a challenge.
Integrated and Autonomous Camera and Voice-Down Solution
Virtual Perimeter Guard is available as an outdoor unit and includes an AI-enabled camera that can detect people and vehicles with 99% accuracy day and night. It also includes strobes and a speaker unit, intelligent 2-way audio relay, a network video recorder, and wireless access point. For persistent threats such as break-ins, the system is configured to automatically alert Interface’s Interactive Security Operations Center (iSOC) for live remote monitoring and intervention.
Autonomous
Functions autonomously to detect threats and play the appropriate message along with strobes and lights. No monitoring is needed.
Automated Escalation
Can be configured to automatically alert iSOC for live video review by intervention specialists for further action.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Deter loiterers, panhandlers, and open-air drug activity at storefront entrances. Block homeless encampments from forming on or adjacent to your property. Safeguard outdoor assets such as lawn equipment displays, vehicle fleets, and parked machinery.
- Thwart smash-and-grab burglars aiming to breach your storefront glass.
- Stop vandals from defacing or damaging the property.
- Initial Detection Zone (Stage 1): A wide area where every motion trigger plays a pre-recorded voice warning and flashes the strobe light; these activations repeat indefinitely without iSOC escalation.
- Inner Detection Zone (Stage 2): A smaller, focused area or zone where any trespassing immediately generates an alarm to our iSOC for live monitoring and response.
- Loitering Prevention: In the outer detection zone, voice-downs and strobes repeat every 3 minutes for three consecutive activations. Only on the fourth activation, once the intruder remains in or enters the inner zone, does the system notify iSOC.
- Intrusion Prevention: Any breach of the inner detection zone triggers an immediate voice-down and strobe. If the intruder remains after 15 seconds, the system escalates straight to the iSOC.
- Draw a detection box -larger for loitering or tight around a doorway for intrusion.
- Assign a mode (Loitering or Intrusion) and set a schedule for when that mode is active.
